Operation

4.1  Series 340 VGC Controls

A description of the controls and indicators on a basic 340 Vacuum Gauge Controller (VGC) is 
given in this section. Theory of operation for ion gauges and Convectron gauges is explained in this 
chapter, as well as Convectron gauge operation and using them with gases other than N2 or Air. 
Detailed information regarding the Electrometer module and the Convectron module is given in 
Chapters 5 and 6, respectively.
