Tighten knife disk mounting bolt: torque to 150 lb-ft 15/16”
socket.
One or more swing knives are loose
Retighten swing knife mounting hardware: torque to 50 lb-ft
One or more swing knives are dull
Sharpen dull or nicked swing knives
Wiring damaged
check wiring from control panel to electric clutch
Estop switch worn
Remove and replace estop control switch.
Electric clutch worn
have the clutch inspected by a qualified mechanic
Spindle bearings or spindle shaft worn.
Inspect spindle bearings or spindle shaft for unusual play,
replace if required.

Inspect and clean pulley's with steel wool. File off cuts or
nicks.
Inspect belt for stretching.
Inspect idler tension spring, check measurement (measures
3.625 to 3.75“) adjust if required, replace if broken
Inspect belt for wear or hard spots.

Retighten swing knife mounting hardware: torque to 50 lb-ft
One or more swing knives are dull
Sharpen dull or nicked swing knives
Hieght adjustment issue
Inspect hieght adjust system is not damged and adjustes
evenly
Low engine RPM
Run engine at full RPM
Belt slipping
Inspect idler tension spring, check measurement (measures
3.625 to 3.75“) adjust if required, replace if broken
Deck plugged, grass accumulation
Clean underside of deck
Wet grass
Cut grass after it has dried out
One or more swing knives are damaged Inspect swing knives, replace if bent or broken
Knife disc is damaged
