HOOTING
(2) Communication using auto refresh
(a) Outline of auto refresh
Auto refresh is a communication method using the auto refresh area in the
multiple CPU high speed transmission area of the CPU shared memory.
Data written to the auto refresh area in the multiple CPU high speed transmission
area are sent to another auto refresh area of another CPU at regular intervals
(multiple CPU high speed transmission cycle).
To set the communication using auto refresh, open the <<Multiple CPU settings>>
tab in C Controller setting utility and set "Multiple CPU high speed transmission
area setting".
The auto refresh allows a CPU to use another CPU's device data, which have
been received automatically.
Figure 13.17 shows an auto refresh operation of a system in which a Universal
model QCPU and a C Controller module is set as CPU No.1 and CPU No.2
respectively.
