2.17 Alarm function
2.17.1 Retry function [Pr. 65, 67 to 69]
(common)
If a fault occurs, the inverter resets itself automatically to
restart. You can also select the fault that causes a retry.
When you have selected automatic restart after
instantaneous power failure ([
Pr. 57 Restart coasting time
≠
9999]), restart operation is performed at the retry operation
time which is the same of that of a power failure. (
Refer to
page 367
for the restart function.)
(1) Retry operation [Pr. 67 to 69]
Retry operation automatically resets a fault and
restarts the inverter at the starting frequency when
the time set in [
Pr. 68 Retry waiting time
] elapses after
the inverter is tripped.
Retry operation is performed by setting [
Pr. 67
≠
0]
.Set the number of retries at fault occurrence in [
Pr.
67 Number of retries at fault occurrence
]. When retries
fail consecutively more than the number of times set
in [
Pr.67
], a retry count excess fault (E.RET) occurs,
and inverter trips. (Refer to retry failure example)
Use [
Pr.68
] to set the waiting time from an inverter trip
to a retry in the range of 0 to 10s in
, 0.1 to
360s in
, and 0.1 to 600s in
. (When the
setting value is 0s, the actual time is 0.1s.)
Reading [
Pr. 69 Retry count display erase
] provides the
cumulative number of successful restart times made
by retry. The cumulative count in [
Pr. 69
] is increased
by 1 when a retry is regarded as successful after
normal operation continues without faults occurring
for more than four times longer than the time set in
[
Pr. 68
] after a retry start. (After retry is succeeded,
cumulative number of retry fail time is cleared.)
Writing 0 in [
Pr. 69
] clears the cumulative count.
During a retry, the Y64 signal is ON. For the Y64
signal, assign the function by setting 64 (positive
logic) or 164 (negative logic) in any of [
Pr. 190 to Pr.
196 Output terminal function selection
] .
