6.13.2
Selection of a regenerative brake (Pr. 30, Pr. 70)
●
When making frequent starts/stops, use the optional high-duty brake resistor (FR-ABR),
brake unit (BU, FR-BU, MT-BU) to increase the regenerative brake duty.
●
Use a power regeneration common converter (FR-CV) or power regeneration converter (MT-
RC) for continuous operation in regenerative status.
Use a high power factor converter (FR-HC, MT-HC) to reduce harmonics, improve the power
factor, or continuously use the regenerative mode.
●
You can select either DC feeding mode 1 in which operation is performed with DC power
(terminal P/+, N/-) or DC feeding mode 2 in which operation is performed normally with the
AC power (terminal R/L1, S/L2, T/L3) and performed with DC power such as battery at
occurrence of power failure.
