Routine Maintenance

Replacing the Analog Main Board (AMB)

 

1.

Unplug the power cord from the controller.

2.

Remove the cover.

3.

Remove the screw that secures the faceplate to the back panel of the 
controller.

4.

Disconnect the cables on the Analog Option Board (if installed) and 
Analog Main Board. 

To disconnect the flex cable, first loosen the connector as shown in the 
illustrations on page 32. 

5.

Slide the Analog Main Board out of the controller.

6.

Insert the new board.

7.

Reconnect the cables.

8.

Replace the Analog Option Board (if previously removed).

Note: 

The AMB and AOB must be the same version.

Note:

AMB version 3 has an extra connector on the back of the board. 

Ignore this connector when connecting AMB version 3 to CX controller.
