11. 7. PABX/Centrex Search Tables 841 - 845
•
A failure to match any Search Table Code or a fifth digit dialled without a match will result
in reorder being returned to the subscriber side.
•
A Dialer can have multiple PABX/Centrex codes of differing lengths, but none longer than
5 digits.
•
If the Dialer is installed behind a PABX or on a Centrex line, these tables must be enabled
by Register 126 and programmed to distinguish between PABX/Centrex extension
numbers and trunk access code digits.
11. 7. 1. PABX/Centrex Search Tables 841 -845
11. 7. 2. PABX/Centrex Example One
The user will first dial the digit 9 to access an out-going trunk. The Dialer will dial the digit 9
to the exchange side. Dial tone will be heard by the user, and the remaining digits will be
screened in Search Tables 801 through 815. If the user dials a digit other than 9, the Dialer will
directly dial the digits to the exchange side.

11. 7. 3. PABX/Centrex Example Two

Select Digits Buffer. Dial tone will be heard by the user, and the remaining digits will be
screened in Search Tables 801 through 815. If the user dials a digit other than 9, the Dialer will
directly dial the digits.

Each 6r5 register being used should contain the #06 token at the beginning of the dialling
sequence, followed by the remaining tokens, e.g. #862327 becomes #862#06327.
