Capacities
For general reference purposes, the topics and tables in this section summarize the MiVoice Office
250 equipment specifications and capacities.
System Capacities
summarizes capacities for systems running v6.0 or later software.
NOTICE
NOTICE
The capacity values published in this document have been validated under controlled laboratory
conditions and supported by real-time field trials in a variety of business operations. However, the
actual capacities that a MiVoice Office 250 can support will depend on the mixture of trunks and phones
installed, among other network and environmental factors.
While Mitel converged technology platforms provide advanced communications capability, the nature
of that technology imposes certain physical constraints. These physical constraints include such things
as the number of simultaneous voice channels and signal processing resources available at any time.
The maximum capacities listed indicate tested capability rather than claims that all the values have
been realized at the same time.
NOTE
Starting with v4.0, the lack of a PEC-1 and/or a PS-1/vPS-1 no longer reduces certain
maximum feature capacities available on the system. For guidelines on when they might be
needed, see the MiVoice Office 250 Engineering Guidelines.
