6. Carefully insert the HX Processor Module into the large processor module bay in the HX Con -
troller chassis (the bottom bay looking at the back of the chassis). Make sure the module aligns
with the rails inside the chassis, then carefully slide the module into the chassis until it touches
the back of the chassis.
7. Push the two insertion/extraction levers in towards each other until they lock the module into
place.
Adding a Processor Expansion Card (PEC-1)
If necessary, an optional Processor Expansion Card (PEC-1) can be added to the HX Processor
Module to provide additional IP and/or voice processing resources. See the
MiVoice Office 250
Engineering Guidelines
for details on when a PEC-1 might be needed.
To install the Processor Expansion Card:
1. If performing this procedure on a system that has already been installed, follow the substeps
below to remove the HX Processor Module. If not, proceed to step 2 .
NOTICE
Equipment Damage Hazard . Damage to circuit boards may occur if both insertion/extraction
levers are not activated at the same time.
