PROGRAMMING A DIAL-BY-FUNCTION KEY
You can program numbers and procedures (*, #) that you often use, on the function
keys. To use a number or a procedure you press the key.
To program a key, it is necessary to use the Web interface, see 11 Web Server on page
50.

PROGRAMMING THE TYPE OF RING SIGNAL ON A LINE
OR MONITORING KEY
It is the system administrator who initiates a
Monitoring
key. From the Web interface
you can change the type of ring signal for the key, see 11 Web Server on page 50.

PROGRAMMING THE CHARACTER OF THE RING SIGNAL
Ring signals are generated in the telephone loudspeaker by a tone ringer. The selec-
tion of one of ten different ring characters can be made using the Web interface, see
11 Web Server on page 50. Each ring character corresponds to a digit between 0 to 9.

SETTING THE HEARING LEVEL
It is possible to get an increased hearing level in the handset. This is set through the
Web interface, see 11 Web Server on page 50.
