Software

To resolve this issue, perform the following procedure before proceeding to install the

ICP3300 Controller manually.

Procedure

1.

Access 3300 ICP Controller through the maintenance port (see, 

Maintenance

> 

Access 3300 ICP Controller Through the Maintenance Port

 in the 

MiVoice

Business Technician's Handbook

).

2.

Log in to the Linux shell as the root user and initiate system reboot via 

reboot

command.

3.

Stop the auto-boot sequence from the serial port (Maintenance port), by pressing

the SPACE key three or more times consecutively within 7 seconds at the following

prompt.

Press <SPACE> key three times within 7 seconds to stop
 autoboot

4.

At the U-Boot command prompt, run the following command to print your U-Boot

configuration.

run ubootprint

print vlan

print baudrate

5.

Copy and save the values of your U-Boot configuration to a file to have them handy in

case you need them for a recovery.

6.

Run the following command to erase both U-Boot environment sectors.

run erase_redund_ubootenv

run erase_ubootenv
