The miscea aquamore system can be used in areas where water hygiene is of utmost importance, such
as in hospitals, aged care homes, offices, and many private and semi-public environments. Equipped
with innovative miscea aqualibur water hygiene technology, the miscea aquamore system proactively
protects your water against water stagnation and waterborne bacteria.
Stagnation in water pipes and fittings is found to be one of the main reasons of biofilm growth and
generally happens in the dead ends of plumbing networks and systems that are not frequently used.
There are various reasons why water stagnation occurs such as, inoccupancy of rooms in a hotel or
hospital or due to holidays in private homes and holiday homes.
The German Federal Environment Agency (Umweltbundesamt, or UBA) as well as the German Gas
and Water Association (DvgW) have set up extensive guidelines of preventive measures counteract -
ing bacterial contamination in plumbing networks. The UBA states, drinking water must be considered
stagnant after 4 hours without flow and should be flushed before it can be used for consumption.
