To Configure PageScope Preferences
1.
Input data for the following items to change their settings as
required.
Change Password Input a new password when you want to
change the existing password.
Retype Password Re-input the new password to confirm it.
Interval (Printer List)
Type in the update interval, in seconds, for
information about devices displayed in the
device list. (10 to 999 seconds)
Interval (Others)
Input the interval in seconds between a
change in device status and updating of the
control panel. (10 to 999 seconds)
Timeout
Input the time in seconds that should be
allowed until the PageScope server obtains
information from a device following a device
information request when there is an update
in device information displayed in the device
list. (0 to 99 seconds)
Retries
Input the number of retries when an attempt
to obtain information from a device fails. (0
to 99 times)
Enable automatic rediscovery of printers
Put a check into the check box next to this
item to enable automatic rediscovery of
devices on the network. When this option is
enabled, device rediscovery is performed
automatically every eight hours.
2.
After everything is the way you want, click the
Apply
button. To
clear all settings you have made on the setup screen, click the
Clear
button instead of
Apply
.
