To specify the USB printer settings
Use the following procedure to specify the USB printer settings in order to
print through the USB port.

To use this USB software for printing with PagePro 1250E, Apple
LaserWriter 8.3 or later must be installed. First, check the version of
LaserWriter installed on the Macintosh.

Open the Macintosh Hard Disk icon on the desktop.

Open the “Apple Extras” folder.
If your Macintosh is running Mac OS 9.1 or later, open the Applications
folder.

Open the “Apple LaserWriter Software” folder.
If your Macintosh is running Mac OS 9.1 or later, open Utilities folder.

Double-click “Desktop Printer Utility.”

Choose “Printer (USB)” from the “Create Desktop” list, and then
choose [OK].

Choose [Change] from the “PostScript Printer description (PPD) file”
section to select a specific driver.

Choose “MINOLTA-QMS PagePro 1250E,” and then choose [Select].

Choose [Change] from the “USB Printer Selection” section to select
the USB printer.

Choose “PagePro 1250E,” and then choose [OK].

Choose [Create].

Select the location and name for your printer, and then choose [Save].
This completes the installation of the printer driver and the specifica-
tion of the USB printer settings.
