Installing the Lower Feeder Unit

Attention

Since consumables are installed in the printer, be sure to keep the 
printer level when moving it in order to prevent accidental spills.

1

Turn off the printer, and unplug the 
power cord and interface cable.

2

Remove the media support from 
Tray 1.

 

Lift the support slightly and snap it 
gently out of the printer.

3

Remove the lower feeder unit from 
the shipping carton, and place it on a table or flat surface near the printer.

4

Remove any tape and packing 
material from the lower feeder unit.

We 

strongly

 suggest that you 

save the packing materials in 
case you ever need to move 
or ship the printer.
