12 Barcode Scanner
12.1 Barcode Structure
Each barcode is finished with character: CR = 0Dhex = Carriage return
Numbers smaller than 6 digits are read as originals.
Example: reference sample quantity is 35 pieces. Then the original barcode can looks like:
35 or 0035.
Readable characters are:

Capital letters (A … Z)
-
Numbers (0 … 9)
-
Special Characters: "-, "/", ".", "blank" (20hex)
12.2 Error Handling
If an erroneous string is received then the displays show:
Display-Weight:
dark
Display-PW:
ERR
Display-Count:
BARCOD
for about 2 seconds
Strings larger than 6 or 12 characters are erroneous.
12.3 Input Handling
All Input strings except the "Product-Name" have to be numbers and are 6 characters
long at maximum. Shorter inputs are also possible.
If these input strings for 6 characters contain other characters than numbers then these
input strings are rejected with an error message.
The "Product-Name" string can contain 12 or less alpha numeric characters.

Strings smaller than 12 characters are accepted too: ABC1237 There are no leadings
zeros or similar necessary!

This string can contain several special characters, even several times the same one.
All
barcodes which contain Non-Readable characters or are longer than 6 or 12 digits are
rejected with an error-message.
If the
button was pressed then only integer numbers are allowed. The same is also
valid for the input of the Check-Limit with unit "pcs".
A decimal point is singed by a ".".
A decimal point or a minus sign are not countered for the 6 or 12 input characters.
Example: right input for 6 Characters: -122.125
Negative numbers are possible.
