Assembling the cable gland

Carefully perform all work on the screw connection.
Be sure to use a torque wrench. The torque of this cable screw connection is
5 Nm
.

1. Strip approx. 14 cm from the end of the cable.
2. Shorten the shielding to approx. 2 cm and pull back over the insulation.
3. Strip approximately 5 mm of the insulation from the wires of the connecting cable
and aix ferrules to the wire ends.
1. Remove the dummy plug from the hole on the intended for this purpose.
2. Insert the enclosed cable gland through the hole and secure it from the inside with
the locknut (

).
3. Insert the cable through the cable gland until the shielding (

) makes contact with the
terminals (

). Tighten the pressure nut (

) until the sealing insert (

) forms a small
bulge between the pressure nut and the cable.
4. Check contact of shielding and terminals.
