In legal metrology, "external calibration" is blocked (switch cover sealed)

External calibration is only possible if the seal is removed. In the event of this, the
veriication validity expires and the scale must be readjusted.
Use of the veriied scale with internal calibration equipment in legal metrology:
Opening the locking switch
The locking switch is located on the rear panel of the indicator, immediately adjacent
to the weighing platform connector.
7.2.2
Example: External calibration
External calibration and manual calibration with standard weights (weighing parameters
are factory settings).
Display [CAL.EXT.] appears for two seconds.

Before use in legal metrology, perform the function [CAL.INT.] 1.9.5 "Internal
calibration" at the place of installation.

Remove the cover cap.

Push the switch to the left (= position "open", setting for mandatory calibration).
1. Zero the scale by pressing

2. Start calibration of the scale by pressing and holding down the
key (e.g. the WP
symbol lashes after the calibration alert).
