Procedure
If the device is part of a veriied weighing system, this can only be done by breaking
the seal. The scale must then be re-calibrated.
The data can be obtained from the land registry or the land surveying authority.
5.6.3.1
Displaying the geographical values during the calibration procedure
Note:
The set geographic values are displayed during the calibration procedure if the display
of this data is activated in the setup menu at [BETRIEB].
Menu: [SETUP]- [BETRIEB]- [PARAMET]- [ANZ.GEOG]- [EIN] (8.12.1) (factory setting:
[AUS] 8.12.2, display deactivated) (see also Chapter
).
When the display is activated, the calibration procedure is as follows:
After starting the calibration procedure, when using local altitude and latitude, [CAL] ,
the word [ALTITUD] followed by the set altitude (in meters above sea level) appears
briely on the display.
5.6.4
Entering calibration and linearization weights
Enter the calibration and linearization weights.
1. Open the locking switch (see Chapter
2. Activate service mode (see Chapter
3. Select the weighing platform.
4. Enter the geographical data for the calibration site under menu item [GEOG.DAT]
1.20.1 … 1.20.3 and save it under menu item [SPEICH.] 1.20.4(see also
Chapter
).
5. Perform external calibration (see Chapter
).
6. After calibration, enter the geographical data for the installation site under menu
item [GEOG.DAT] 1.20.1 … 1.20.3 and save it under menu item [SPEICH.] 1.20.4(see
also Chapter
7. Close the locking switch.
The scale can now be operated at the installation site, including the tolerance
zone speciied above.
1. Conirm the value displayed with the
key (cancel with the
key).
The word [LATITUD] is then briely displayed followed by the set latitude in
degrees.
2. Conirm the value displayed with the
key (cancel with the
key).
Then the prompt to place the calibration weight onto the scale is displayed. If the
gravitational acceleration has been entered instead of the local altitude and
latitude, the word [GRAVITY] appears briely followed by the set value for the
gravitational acceleration.
3. Conirm the value displayed with the
key (cancel with the
key).
