4.2.7 Acclimatizing the device
If a cold device is brought into a warm environment, condensation may form.

An Minebea Intec platform (CAAPP, CAAPS) or an IS weighing platform is connected at
the factory to the Combics indicator WP1 input.

Any installation work that does not conform to the instructions in this manual results in
forfeiture of all claims under the manufacturer’s warranty.
The load cell should be connected by a certiied technician who has received
specialized training from Minebea Intec.
Peripheral devices should be connected by a certiied technician who has received
specialized training from Minebea Intec.

Property damage and/or personal injury are possible.
Disconnect the equipment from the power supply before starting connection work.

. Keep the device disconnected from the mains and allow it to acclimatize at room
temperature for approx. two hours.
. Place cables from peripheral devices next to the indicator.
. Opening the Combics indicator: Loosen the ten cap nuts on the front panel. Remove
the front panel.
