Mark detecting function [MARK DETECT]
This function is used to automatically detect a registration mark.
Correct the inclination of the sheet loaded on the device, origin of plotting and distance between
registration marks. Then, cut the contour of a picture pattern printed on a seal.
The following types of the registration marks are to be read.
* To make the distance between registration marks equal to the cutting length,
input the distance between printed marks found by the mark detecting function.
When you input the aforementioned distance, the setting established for the
distance compensation function contained in the FUNCTION will automatically
change correspondingly. If you change the latter setting, the former will also
change correspondingly.
* If you turn the sheet set lever away from you to remove the sheet, the settings of
sheet inclination, origin location and two-point axis alignment will be cleared. In
this case, however, the setting of the distance compensation will remain in memory.
* Once the device detects marks, the origin will be established at the location of
TP1. If you establish another origin at a different location using the jog key
(arrow key), the origin will be rendered effective.
* The rotating function is rendered ineffective.
