Setting the Drawing Origin
The origin is the reference point for drawing, cutting, and grid
cutting. (It is normally set at the lower-right corner of the maximum
effective cutting area.)
The drawing position moves as the origin is moved.

Press .
Select the local menu.
• If the unit is in remote status, press
to set
local status.

Press the jog keys
to move the
light pointer to the position where you
wish to set the origin.
• Move the light pointer to the tool tip to display the current light pointer coordinates.
•
To change the head travel speed

• The origin is set.
• The tool tip moves to the light pointer position.
• The origin is set as coordinate position (0, 0). When the
head is moved by pressing the jog keys, the screen
displays the coordinates with respect to the origin.
• The Sample Cut function cuts (draws, grid cuts) the data
next to the origin.
