Chapter 3. Routine Maintenance

 

 

 

PELLERIN MILNOR CORPORATION

 

a formula or operate the machine manually. It is not necessary to do the test when the 
machine operates. 

 

   

3.  Operate an emergency stop mechanism (examples - button, kick plate, pull cord). If the 

mechanism operates correctly, the operator alarm comes on. Did this occur?

—Release the emergency stop mechanism if necessary. For example, if this is an 

emergency stop button, turn the button clockwise to unlock it. Push the start button 
(

). Do the test on a different emergency stop mechanism. Continue until you do the 

test on all emergency stop mechanisms on the machine.

—An electrical component is defective. Shut down the machine. Do not let the 

machine operate until you correct the problem.
