• Restart MacroVIEW and verify that the license level is “Unlimited”, as shown below.
3.9.4. Data storage settings
Click on Storage button to either change or add new storage folders (up to 3). The system automatically
saves cases in each folder selected.
To ensure adequate installation, the unit needs to store the data in a shared folder on a server.
For this reason, the unit must be constantly connected via LAN.
The first path is the most import and must always be available; therefore, it must be the shared folder
present on the server. This folder must provide full control for each account and for each PC running on the
MacroView software.
The second path could be the local folder (present on the internal hard disk of the PC).
The following figure for example shows a shared folder online for the first path and a local folder on PC for
the second.
The local folder will ONLY store the cases created and opened by the MacroVIEW you are using. The
shared folder on the server will collect ALL the cases created and managed by all the stations/units (if
present).
