– Connecting the stainless steel hose
to the refrigeration appliance
Pull the cover
off the thread of the
solenoid valve
.
Push the nut
over the angled end
of the hose
as far as it will go,
holding the nut securely.
Moisten the seal
, then press the
seal into the nut.
The seal should lie flush with the angled
end of the hose and be held lightly in
position.
Take care not to damage the
thread of the solenoid valve.
There is a risk of damaging the
threads beyond repair.
Position the nut straight on the
thread and screw it carefully into
place.
Tip:
Lay out the straight end of the hose
on the floor to the left of the appliance.
Use two fingers to position the nut
straight on the thread of the solenoid
valve and screw it carefully into place.
Tighten the nut with the tool sup-
plied
by turning it clockwise until
the maximum torque is reached and
the tool is over-torqued.

to the tap
Unscrew the safety cap from the
nut
on the straight end of the
hose
.
Connect this nut
using the tool
supplied to the tap
. Tighten the nut
by turning it clockwise until the max-
imum torque is reached and the tool
is over-torqued.
– Checking the mains water connec-
tion
Open the tap
and switch the ice
cube maker on (see “Selecting further
settings” – “Switching the ice cube
maker on and off”) as soon as the re-
frigeration appliance has been con-
nected to the electricity supply.
Check the entire water system for
leaks.
Fold the tab
on the tool
in and
secure the tool to the stainless steel
hose for safe-keeping.
