Resetting factory settings 
All settings are reset to the factory
default and the appliance is switched
off.
Accessing information 
Appliance data (model number and
serial number) is shown in the display.
Useful tip: This data is important for
reporting an appliance fault to Miele's
customer service department.
Confirm with OK to leave the
information screen.

Reminder to replace charcoal filter 
The appliance is fitted with charcoal
filters (Active AirClean) in a holder.
If the charcoal filter indicator has been
activated, you will be reminded to
replace the filters after approx.
6 months (see “Cleaning and care” –
“Replacing the charcoal filters”).
The

symbol will appear on the start
screen in the temperature display and
an audible tone will sound (if switched
on).
Touch the symbol to confirm the
message. This resets the counter and
the display changes back to the start
screen.
Reminder to clean ventilation grille 
A ventilation grille is fitted in the plinth
of the appliance.
If the reminder to clean the ventilation
grille is activated, you will be reminded
to dust the ventilation grille after
approx. 12 months (see “Cleaning and
care - Cleaning the ventilation grille”).

