Technical Information
H806 Series – Mechanical Oven
interior – refer to Figure 6-1, Item 1.
The oven is then switched on and heated up with the door closed and the
temperature control set at the appropriate setting. Measurements should
be taken when the stated number of regulator cycles have elapsed after
the heater switches off for the first time. This helps ensure that a true
average is taken.
One complete regulation cycle is the time which elapses between two
heating switch-off points. Table 6-1 includes the temperature regulator
settings and the number of regulator cycles which should pass before
measurements are taken.

Test Procedure Settings
Measure the highest and the lowest temperature during both the fourth
and the fifth cycles. The oven temperature is then calculated as the
arithmetic average of these two values as follows:
Example for Combi-oven, temperature setting 170°C:
Measurements taken during:
The fourth cycle
The fifth cycle
Max. temp = 180°C
Max. temp = 182°C
Min. temp = 164°C
Min. temp = 166°C
Average max. = 180 + 182 Average

Note:
Checking the thermostats in Combi-ovens should generally be carried
out using the hot air settings.
