Using SuperFreeze

SuperFreeze function

For best results, switch on the
SuperFreeze function before putting
fresh food into the freezer.
This helps food to freeze quickly and
retain its nutrients, vitamins, flavours
and appearance.
Exceptions:
– When placing food in the freezer that
is already frozen.
– If you only freeze up to 2 kg fresh
food daily.
Switching on SuperFreeze
SuperFreeze should be switched on 4–
6 hours before you place food in the
freezer
. When freezing the maximum
amount of food the SuperFreeze
function should be switched on
24 hours beforehand .
 Touch the  sensor for setting the
temperature.

Touch the

sensor to switch the
SuperFreeze function on.
The

symbol will be highlighted in
colour and the newly set temperature
value of -30 °C will appear in the
display.
 Confirm the setting with OK or wait
approx. 8 seconds after the last touch
of the sensor. The setting will then be
automatically adopted.
The symbol  will light up in the
temperature display.
The appliance will run at maximum
power.
Switching off SuperFreeze
 Touch the  sensor for setting the
temperature.
The

symbol will be highlighted in
colour and the temperature value of
-30 °C is shown in the display.
 Touch the  sensor to switch the
SuperFreeze function off.
The

symbol is no longer highlighted
in colour and the previous temperature
setting appears again in the display.

Confirm the setting with OK or wait
approx. 8 seconds after the last touch
of the sensor. The setting will then be
automatically adopted.
The  symbol disappears from the
temperature display.
The refrigeration appliance will run at
normal power again.
If you do not switch off the SuperFreeze
function, it will turn itself off
automatically after approx. 54 hours.
The quantity of fresh food placed in the
freezer will determine the time before
SuperFreeze switches off.
The appliance will then run at normal
power again.
Useful tip: To save energy, you should
manually switch the SuperFreeze
function off once the freezer reaches a
constant temperature of -18 °C or
colder. Check the temperature in the
freezer.
