Process chemicals
Damage caused by using unsuitable cleaning agents.
Using unsuitable cleaning agents, such as a cleaning agent for a
domestic dishwasher, will mean that the reprocessing result is not
as expected.
Only use cleaning agents that are suitable for cleaning machines.
The machine is only designed for use with liquid cleaning agents. Liq-
uid cleaning agent is dispensed from an external container via a suc-
tion wand.
For environmental reasons it is important to always consider the fol-
lowing factors when selecting a cleaning agent:
- How alkaline does the cleaning agent need to be for the cleaning
application involved?
- Are protein-removing enzymes required and is the program se-
quence suitable for this?
- Are surfactants required for proper dispersion and emulsification?
- Is a cleaning agent containing active chlorine required or can a
cleaning agent without active chlorine be used?
Cleaning agents containing chlorine can damage the plastics
and elastomers inside the cleaning machine.
If the use of cleaning agents containing chlorine is required, a max-
imum temperature of 167°F/75°C in the “Dispensing cleaning
agent” program blocks is recommended (see program chart).
In machines equipped with special oil-resistant elastomers (from
the factory) for oil and grease applications, cleaning agents con-
taining chlorine may not be used!
