The major di

erence for the cUL version of the VA Series is the French / English speci
fi
cation plate
and the
fi
ring valve for the pilot line.

Make sure the thermostat and operating controls are calling for heat.
CAUTION
: If a test indicates an electrical component may be defective, before replacing
it make sure that its associated wiring is not at fault.
ELECTRICAL AND FLAME CHECKS MUST BE MADE IN THE ORDER LISTED BELOW.
A. MOTOR WILL NOT RUN

a. Verify the circuit polarity and electrical ground between strip terminal:

Honeywell control
- 10 and burner Ground;

- 1 and burner Ground.
b. No voltage: open circuit in operating controls.
c. Voltage present: motor is defective.
2. Check that relay “A” is energized.
3. Check that there is a 2-10 VDC control signal.
B. MOTOR RUNS CONTINUOUSLY, PILOT WILL NOT LIGHT

2. After pre-purge, if the pilot
