1. Verify the serial cable and proper connection.
2. Serial port may be disabled.

5.5 Hardware Reset to Factory Defaults
The SDIDU™ may be reset to factory defaults during power up. A power on reset
affects the IP address and the user logins/passwords. To perform a power on
reset:
1. Power on the SDIDU™
2. During bootup, the SDIDU™ will flash the controller-card LED alternating
red/green for five seconds.
3. Make sure the call button is not active at the start of this five second
period.
4. While the LED is flashing, press the call button. Release the call button
within one second after the LED stops flashing.
