CHAPTER 3 – Installing
Dip-Switch Configuration:
Installing Radio SY920-SY921 Modules
The SY920/SY921 detector should be installed on
doors, windows or openings placing the sensor on
the fixed part of the opening, and the magnet on
the moving part.
To be sure of a correct operation, position the
magnet as in figure M2 ensuring that the reference
arrows are as much as possible aligned between
them. Keep a distance of 1 cm between the
magnet and the sensor.
Caution for Installation:
• DO NOT install the sensor SY920/SY921 directly on metal surfaces, but between the
sensor and the support surface a strip of insulating material (plastic, wood) with a
thickness of 2 cm.
• Before connecting sensor battery pleas make connections and schedules on the dip-
switches (see chapter 2), depending on the type of system required.
Opening and closing of the casing:
OPENING: Open the plastic casing of the
sensor by levering with a screwdriver in the invitation
present on the casing, as shown in figure M4 (side
LED).
CLOSING: The closing of the sensor is
achieved by placing the lid tilted on the bottom,
ensuring that the two parts get stuck thanks to
special locks (see Fig. M5).
Quit putting pressure on the other side of the
cover until you get one shot. Doing this you will
have the perfect alignment of the spring of tamper
button with the right clamp, ensuring the proper
functioning
