CAUTION
If the operator uses this command and does not provide any of the arguments, the unit will set its position
based on the current system status (
status gps:position
) value. Doing this may cause accuracy issues
because of position errors.

If these settings are correct, type
save
to save the current position on the system to ensure the system uses
the manual positioning mode after a reboot or power cycle.
2.5 4380A Installation
The 4380A is ready for installation into a standard 19" (48.3 cm) rack using either L-Brackets, slides, or
shelves and will take up 1U of rack space. The 4380A has the following options for the slides:
94020 = Rail Kit, 20-32” Rack Depth
94021 = Rail Kit, 24-30” Rack Depth
2.5.1 Chassis Grounding
The 4380A has a grounding connection on the rear panel for a connection to a protective earth ground.

2.5.2 Power Supplies
The 4380A operates with two power supplies capable of operating on different power sources. The 4365A
(AC Power Supply) and 4366A (DC Power Supply) are available. The 4380A is capable of operating on
one power supply in the event that the other fails or its input source fails. Power Supply #1 is on the left
and Power Supply #2 is on the right when looking at the front of the unit. See Appendix A for the
specifications on the Power Supplies.
