To evaluate sleep disordered breathing
(SDB), it is necessary to activate all sensors
during the nocturnal period. By default that
period is activated between 10:00 pm and
06:00 am. According to patient's habits, it is
possible to select another period from the
drop down list shown on the left.
This time will not be taken into account if the
Spider SAS is used in Holter recording mode.

[Duration]
This box allows you to select the duration of the polygraph: 1 or 2 nights. If
Spider SAS is used in Holter mode, this box allows you to select 24 h or 48h continuous ECG
recording.

[Types]
This box allows you to select the type of belt(s) used (None, Thoracic, Abdominal,
AbThoracic).

[Physio Hub]
indicates if the Physio Hub is connected to Spider SAS. Spider SAS checks
the quality of the connection then HookUp RS displays
[Physio]
on the right side. If there is
no PhysioHub connected, the HookUp RS displays
[No cable]
: the recording will be launched
in Holter mode (ECG only).
[Accelerometer Orientation]
indicates in real time the position in space. Values displayed
are based on the fact that Spider SAS is located and maintained on the patient as shown at
§ 8.8.

[Date & Time]
This box is automatically ticked when the recorder is connected. It is
possible to repeat the operation in order to (re)synchronize the PC Date/Time clock with
Spider SAS clock.

[Erase µSD]
. Press this button to delete data from the previous recording. When data are
moved from the card the box is ticked.

Cursor to adjust the ECG signal amplitude.
BELTS & RESPIRATION SCREEN
Click on [
Belts - Respi]

) to display the belt(s) and respiration screen (see below).
If the sensors are connected, signals are displayed separately with indication of the amplitude
in mV in real time. The curves come from:
