Horvath-Kawazoe Report Options
The Horvath-Kawazoe method plots individual peaks for different pore sizes even if the difference
between one pore size and the next is only one Angstrom (0.10 nm) or less. In the
Selected Reports
list box, highlight
Horvath-Kawazoe
, then click
Edit
.
Field or Button Description
Pore Geometry

group box
Select the option that best represents the physical geometry of the
micropores in the sample material. When
Sphere
is selected, options in the
Interaction Parameter
group box are disabled.
Interaction Parameter

group box
Select to determine which interaction parameter will be used in the report.
These options are disabled if
Sphere
is selected in the
Pore Geometry
group box.

Computed -
select to calculate using the parameters on the Horvath-
Kawazoe Physical Properties window (click the
Properties
button to
display the Physical Properties window). The interaction parameter is
recalculated each time a parameter on the Physical Properties window
is edited.

Entered -
select to calculate using the value entered in the text box.
