Inserting small rotors
You need the adapter (6.2842.020) in order to insert a small rotor into the
suppressor drive.
1 Inserting the rotor into the adapter
CAUTION
An incorrectly inserted rotor may be
destroyed
during start-up.

Clean the sealing surface of the rotor with ethanol using a lint-
free cloth.

Insert the rotor into the adapter so that the tubing connections
on the rear of the rotor fit into the corresponding recesses inside
the adapter and one of the three holes of the rotor is visible in the
slot of the adapter.

Connecting the Metrohm Suppressor Module (MSM)
The three entries and exits of the suppressor units, numbered 1, 2 and 3
on the connecting piece, each have two permanently installed PTFE capil-
laries.
