Intended use
The 899 Coulometer is designed for usage as a titrator in analytical labora-
tories. Its application field is coulometric water content determination
according to Karl Fischer.
The present instrument is suitable for processing chemicals and flammable
samples. Usage of the 899 Coulometer therefore requires the user to have
basic knowledge and experience in handling toxic and caustic substances.
Knowledge with respect to the application of the fire prevention measures
prescribed for laboratories is also mandatory.
