Deaerating the high pressure pump
The high pressure pump will only operate perfectly if the pump head con-
tains no more air bubbles. Therefore it must be deaerated during initial
start-up and after every change of eluent.
Caution
The high pressure pump must
not
be deaerated before the initial start-
up .
