EXITING THE ADVANCED TOOLS MENU

From the
Advanced Tools Menu
, touch the
Back
button to return to the
Tools Menu
.

From the
Tools Menu
, touch the
Back
button to return to the
Main Menu
.
SETTING THE TIME
1.
From the
Advanced Tools Menu
, touch the
Time
button.
The incubator’s time cannot be adjusted while an incubation cycle is active.
2.
Using the keypad that appears on-screen, enter the time in HH:MM format. Use the
Arrow
buttons to move the cursor position and delete characters necessary.
3.
To save and return to the
Advanced Tools Menu
, press the
Accept
button.
4.
To return to the
Advanced Tools Menu
without modifying the time, touch the
Cancel
button.
SETTING THE DATE
1.
From the
Advanced Tools Menu
, touch the
Date
button.
The incubator’s date cannot be adjusted while an incubation cycle is active.
2.
Using the keypad that appears on-screen, enter the date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Use the
Arrow
buttons to move the cursor and delete characters as necessary.
3.
To save and return to the
Advanced Tools Menu
, press the
Accept
button.
4.
To return to the
Advanced Tools Menu
without modifying the time, touch the
Cancel
button.
CONFIGURING INCUBATION TIME
1.
From the
Advanced Tools Menu
, touch the
Inc. Time
button.
2.
Using the keypad that appears on-screen, enter the incubation period duration in whole hours.
Use the
Arrow
buttons to move the cursor position and delete characters as necessary.
3.
To save and return to the
Advanced Tools Menu
, touch the
Accept
button.
To return to the
Advanced Tools Menu
without adjusting the incubation time, touch the
Cancel
button.
The incubation time will automatically be extended up to 5 minutes if the block temperature
falls below the set point temperature.
Block temperatures below the set point for greater than 5 minutes will cause a fault
condition and the incubator will not record a test result for any BI which was in process
when the temperature fault occurred.
