1. Apply Loctite® 567 PST Pipe Sealant to the threads of the oil pressure switch.

2. Thread the oil pressure switch into the cylinder block. Tighten the oil pressure switch to the specified torque.
3. Use a screw to attach the ring terminal connector (brown/white wire) from the engine harness to the oil pressure switch.
Tighten the screw to the specified torque.

Temperature and Manifold Absolute Pressure (TMAP) Sensor
The manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor is a pressure transducer that measures the changes in intake manifold pressure
caused by engine load and speed in order to calculate fuel and spark timing requirements.
Manifold absolute pressure is the opposite of manifold vacuum. That is, MAP is low when vacuum is high (such as closed
throttle), and MAP is high when vacuum is low (such as at wide‑open throttle).
The manifold air temperature (MAT) sensor measures the charge air temperature. This information is then conducted to the
ECM for processing.
