Trailering Boat/Outboard
The boat should be trailered with the outboard tilted down in a
vertical (normal running),fully down position.
NOTE: Trailering in the tilted position may cause damage to the
motor, boat, etc. If trailering with engine fully down is not available
(the gearcase skeg is too close to the road in a vertical position),
attache the motor securely using a device (like a transom saver
bar) in the tilted position.

Shift the outboard to forward gear. This prevents the propeller from
spinning freely.
