Setting preselected heating mode/
timers
Using the timer, you can set up to three prese-
lection times/timers per day (maximum seven
days).
If the preselection time is activated, the auxili-
ary heating switches on automatically at the
time set.
i Only one preselection time can be activa-
ted at a time.
i Vehicles transporting hazardous goods
with ADR classification: the preselected
heating mode/timer is not available in these
vehicles.

DANGER
If you have preselected a switch-on time,
the auxiliary heating system switches on
automatically.

Toxic exhaust fumes may accumulate if
there is insufficient ventilation, carbon
monoxide in particular. This is the case in
enclosed spaces, for example. There is a
risk of fatal injuries.

There is a risk of fire and explosion if
there are highly flammable materials or
flammable materials nearby!
If you park the vehicle in these or similar
conditions, always deactivate the preselec-
ted switch-on times.
A preselection time can only be set when heat-
ing mode is deactivated.
Turn the controller to select a function or to
adjust a setting and confirm a selection/
setting by pressing the controller.

To select a preselection time: select the
"Timer" menu and confirm.

Select the "Add timer" menu item and con-
firm.
X
Select the weekday and confirm.
X
Set the desired "switch-on time" (hour) and
confirm.
X Set the desired "switch-on time" (minute)
and confirm.
X
Set the desired "switch-off time" (hour) and
confirm.
X Set the desired "switch-off time" (minute)
and confirm.
X
Select the "Heating" function and confirm.
The selected timer is saved and shown in
the display.
X Confirm to activate the timer.
"Activate" is shown in the display.
X
Confirm again.
The "T" symbol is shown in the main menu.
The LED indicator in the immediate start
button flashes green ("Heating" timer
active).
Activating, deactivating, editing or delet-
ing a timer
Turn the controller to select a function or to
adjust a setting and confirm a selection/
setting by pressing the controller.

Select and confirm the "Timer" menu.
The stored timers are shown in the display.
X Select the desired timer and confirm.
X
Select the desired option, e.g. "Edit" and
confirm.
i If you have selected "Delete all", "OK" is
shown in the display. Confirm again to
delete all stored timers.
Airflow, air distribution and temperature
If immediate or preselected heating mode is
active, the blower is set to at least airflow level
1
. The default minimum temperature is also
set.

Turn the temperature control to the right
until the maximum temperature is set

Adjust the air-distribution control and air
vents as desired (
