Note
This section contains the technical threshold values
of the basic vehicle which are important for planning
work. In addition, you will find more information in
the other chapters of the current version of the Body
& Equipment Guideline.
5.1.1
Steerability
•
The front axle load must always be at least 35 % of
the respective current gross vehicle weight in all
load states when the vehicle is moving.
•
Make sure that you do not exceed the gross axle
weight rating (GAWR).

Maximum permissible positions of
center of gravity
x-axis:

approx. 53% rear axle share of load)
y-axis:
The maximum wheel load (1/2 the axle
load) of the laden vehicle may only be
exceeded by 4%.
