Tires

The upfitter must ensure that:

•

There is always sufficient space between the
tire and the fender or wheel arch, even if snow
chains are fitted and the suspension is fully com-
pressed (also allowing for axle twist) and that the
relevant data in the 2D drawings from the web-
site are observed (see chapter 1.1 “Overview”
(

•

Only permissible tire sizes with the appropriate tire
load capacity are used.

WARNING

The tire load capacity must not be exceeded under
any circumstances. If the tire load capacity is
exceeded, this can impair the functionality of the
ESP

®

system. If tire load capacities and/or GAWR

and GVWR are exceeded, this has a significant effect
on driving stability and handling characteristics and
can result in serious injury or death.
