Fold seat backrest 2 forwards.

Observe the following recommendations:
R
If you wish to fold only one of the outer
rear seat backrests forwards, it is recom‐
mended that you fold the right rear seat
backrest forwards.
R
If you wish to fold one of the outer rear
seat backrests and the center rear seat
backrest forwards, it is recommended
that you fold the left and center rear seat
backrests forwards.
Folding the rear seats forwards electrically
If a seat in the second row of seats is not
engaged and locked, this is shown on the multi‐
function display on the instrument cluster.
Requirements:
R
When the center rear seat backrest is in the
cargo compartment floor position, the left
rear seat backrest cannot be folded for‐
wards.

Briefly press buttons 1 to fold the left or
right rear seat backrest forwards.
The rear seat head restraint moves into a
suitable position. The rear seat folds for‐
wards. The center rear seat backrest folds
forwards together with the left rear seat
backrest.

Folding back the rear seat backrest

NOTE Damage caused by trapping the
seat belt when folding back the seat
backrest
The seat belt could become trapped and thus
damaged when the seat backrest is folded
back.

ped when folding back the seat back‐
rest.
