Adjusting the steering wheel
#
To unlock: push release lever 3 down as far
as it will go.
The steering column is unlocked.

Adjust height 1 and distance 2 to the steer-
ing wheel.
#
To lock: push release lever 3 up as far as it
will go.
The steering column is locked.
Stowage areas
Stowage spaces and stowage compartments
▌ Opening and closing the stowage compartment
in the centre console
#
Slide cover 1 of the centre console up or
down using handle 2 .
The following can be found in the stowage com-
partment of the centre console depending on the
car's equipment:

A 12 V socket (

lighter (

The Media Interface with two USB ports or
with two USB ports and one SD card slot
R
The holder for the mobile phone cradle
R
The ashtray (

A stowage compartment or a device installa-
tion frame for auxiliary equipment, e.g. a
tachograph
▌ Opening and closing the stowage compartment
under the armrest

To open: press button 1 .
The stowage compartment will open.

To close: press to close the flaps of the stow-
age compartment in any order.

Opening and closing the glove compartment

WARNING Risk of injury due to objects
being stowed incorrectly
If objects in the vehicle interior are stowed
incorrectly, they can slide or be thrown around
and hit vehicle occupants. In addition, cup
holders, open stowage spaces and mobile
phone brackets cannot always retain all
objects they contain.
There is a risk of injury, particularly in the
event of sudden braking or a sudden change in
direction.

Always stow objects in such a way that
they cannot be thrown around in such
situations.
#
Always make sure that objects do not
protrude from stowage spaces, luggage
nets or stowage nets.
#
Close the lockable stowage spaces
before starting a journey.
#
Always stow and secure heavy, hard,
pointed, sharp-edged, fragile or bulky
objects in the boot.
Observe the notes on loading the vehicle.
