Convenience closing with the air-recirculation
rocker switch: press and hold the
g
rocker
switch up or down until the side windows auto-
matically close.
The indicator lamp over the
g
rocker switch
lights up. The initial position of the side win-
dows is stored. Air-recirculation mode is acti-
vated.
If you open the side windows manually after
using convenience closing, they first open
automatically to the initial position before con-
venience closing.

To interrupt convenience closing: release the
g
rocker switch.

Convenience opening with the air-recirculation
rocker switch: press and hold the
g
rocker
switch up or down until the side windows auto-
matically open.
The indicator lamp over the
g
rocker switch
goes out. Air-recirculation mode is deactivated.

To interrupt convenience opening: release the
g
rocker switch.
Switching the rear window heater on/off
The rear window heater consumes a lot of electric-
ity. You should therefore switch off the rear win-
dow heater as soon as the rear window is clear.

Switch on the vehicle.
#
Press the top or bottom of the
¤
rocker
switch.
If the indicator lamp above the
¤
rocker
switch lights up, the rear window heater is
switched on.
The rear window heater will switch off automati-
cally after a few minutes.
Operating air vents

Very hot or very cold air can flow from the air
vents.

Make sure that all vehicle occupants
always maintain a sufficient distance
from the air vents.
#
If necessary, direct the airflow to another
area of the vehicle interior.
Adjusting the centre air vents

To open/close: turn controller

To adjust the airflow direction: hold centre air
vent

move it up or down or to the left or right.
Adjusting the side air vents:

Opening/closing the rear air vents:

Adjustment wheel for vertically adjusting and
regulating airflow

Adjustment wheel for horizontally adjusting
airflow
The air vents can be adjusted only on vehicles with
rear-compartment air conditioning.
