Charging time – mode 4 applies to DC charging
from 10% to 80% of the usable energy content.
The time taken to charge the battery depends on
the charge status of the battery, the ambient tem-
perature and the charging capacity of the battery.
The charging capacity, in turn, depends on the
supply voltage, the current intensity and the type
of power supply.
The nominal voltage range for your vehicle can be
found on the information label in the socket cover.
Trailer hitch
General notes on the trailer hitch
Modifications to the engine cooling system may
be necessary, depending on the vehicle model.
The retrofitting of a trailer hitch is only permissi-
ble if a towing capacity is specified in your vehicle
documents.
Further information can be obtained at a qualified
specialist workshop.
