Intelligent assistants
Switching the MBUX Interior Assistant on or off
The front and rear cameras can be switched on or
off separately. These settings only apply to the
current vehicle.
#
Activate D or deactivate E Front and
Rear .
Front switches the front camera on or off.
Rear
switches the rear camera on or off.
When both cameras are activated, the full
functionality of the Assistant is used at the
front and rear.
Linking favourites with the V pose
#
Select Front Z .
#
Select Favourite gesture for driver Z or
Passenger's fav. gesture Z .

Select and link the favourite.
#
To switch the V pose on or off: activate D
or deactivate E the function for the driver
or front passenger.
Switching functions on or off
The functions can be switched on or off sepa-
rately for the front and rear vehicle occupants.
The settings are stored in the user profile for each
vehicle occupant and are available for all seats in
the vehicle.

Select Front Z and/or Rear Z .

Activate D or deactivate E a function.

This product uses an infrared lighting system
of risk group 0 (RG0). If the housing is opened
or damaged, infrared radiation may damage
your retina.

Do not open the housing.
#
Always have maintenance work and
repairs carried out by a qualified special-
ist workshop.
This device is a product of risk group 0 (RG0)
according to IEC 62471: 2006 (First Edition) &
DIN EN 62471: 2008.
The driver camera is located in the driver display.
The driver camera detects the following character-
istics:
