Introduction of the New G-Class, Model Series 463
General
The suspension of the G-Class is designed for driving
on demanding terrain. A large ground clearance and
long spring travels form part of this design.
The following key figures demonstrate the excellent
off-road characteristics:
• Maximum gradient of up to 80% on appropriate
ground
• Ground clearance of 21 cm
• Maximum fording depth of 60 cm (G 63 AMG
50 cm)
• Driving stability on lateral slopes of up to 54%
• High ramp angle of 27° on convertible and 24° on
long station wagon
• Approach angle of up to 36°
